[size=48]US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan condemned on Sunday an Iranian ballistic missile attack on Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan region of Iraq, and said Washington was working to help Baghdad acquire missile defense capabilities to defend itself.[/size][/size]
Sullivan added on CBS that no US citizen was injured in the attack, and no US facilities were targeted, but Washington will do everything in its power to defend its people, interests and allies.
[size=45]He continued, "We are consulting with the Iraqi government and the Kurdistan Regional Government, in part, to help them obtain missile defense capabilities so that they can defend themselves in their cities."[/size]
