Haider Al-Ansari, head of the authority , said, "The committee that set the prices relied on the technical study of the project that shows the level of technology used in construction and the financial study that includes the price analysis to calculate the costs and profits presented within the economic feasibility study by the investor, as well as the tables of detailed quantities for construction, architectural and electrical works. mechanical, etc., including price and origin.
Al-Ansari added in an interview with the official newspaper, “Al-Sabah” and followed by “Al-Iqtisad News,” that “the instructions of the National Investment Commission obligated the investor to the price established by the economic feasibility study, and otherwise it is a breach of it that requires the application of Article 28 of the amended Investment Law No. 13 of 2006.”
He explained, "Determining the prices of housing units within the investment housing complexes that obtained a license from the Baghdad Investment Authority is in accordance with the letter of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers in October 2020, which includes preventing investors from speculating in the prices of housing units, as the National Investment Commission issued its instructions in October of the year. Next 2021, which obligated the investor to the price fixed in the economic feasibility study.[/size]
