Shafaq News/ The Central Bank's dollar sales amounted, on Tuesday, to more than 120 million dollars in today's auction, with the participation of 34 banks.
Shafaq News agency reporter stated, "The Central Bank sold today, during its auction for buying and selling the US dollar, 120,883,780 dollars, which the bank covered at a basic exchange rate of 1,460 dinars per dollar.
Our correspondent added that most of the sales went to consolidate the balances abroad in the form of transfers and credits, amounting to 90,583,780 dollars, while the rest went in the form of cash sales, which amounted to 30,300,000 dollars.
Our correspondent indicated that 14 banks have met requests to consolidate balances abroad, and 14 banks have met cash requests, in addition to 198 financial intermediation companies.
