    OPEC Secretary-General Haitham Al-Ghais said today, Saturday, that the OPEC + alliance plays an effective role in supporting market stability, in a statement marking the sixth anniversary of its formation.
    "After six years, this group continues to play an active role in supporting market stability," Al-Ghais added, noting the importance of stability in achieving growth and development and attracting the necessary investments to ensure energy security.
    The last meeting of the OPEC+ coalition, which includes members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and others outside it, led by Russia, was held on December 4th.
