The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faeq Zaidan, discussed with the Japanese Ambassador, Matsumoto Hotoshi, mechanisms for handing over wanted persons to the judiciary between the two countries.
A statement by the judiciary stated that "the President of the Supreme Judicial Council received the Japanese Ambassador, Matsumoto Hotoshi."
He added, "The meeting discussed with him the mechanisms for handing over the wanted persons to the judiciary and the possibility of concluding a bilateral agreement between the two countries in this regard."
