The region closes a border crossing with Syria until further notice

{Local: Al Furat News} Baz Ahmed, director of the public relations department at the Faysh Khabur (Semalka) border crossing between Syria and Iraqi Kurdistan, said that the region's authorities announce the closure of the crossing completely until further notice.
Ahmed added, in a press interview, that "the crossing has given European residency holders and patients a week to settle their affairs and return to Syria, in addition to closing it to commercial traffic."
It is worth noting that the convoys of the international coalition also enter through the aforementioned crossing, and it is considered the main artery for the regions of northeastern Syria with neighboring countries, and it is a "crossing that Damascus does not recognize."
