Adviser to the Iraqi Interior Minister and head of the Supreme Committee for the Arbaeen visit in Iraq, Mahdi al-Fakiki, announced that all border crossings are ready to receive visitors, pointing to the development of military plans for all areas from the border crossings to Karbala and inside Karbala.
Mahdi al-Fakiki said in an interview that the Supreme Committee in Iraq specialized in visiting Arbaeen, which is represented by the Iraqi Minister of Interior, and I am the head of the committee on behalf of the Minister of Interior. .
He added: There are military plans drawn up for all areas, from the crossings to the cities, and from the cities to Karbala and inside Karbala, and there is more than one security line in which all the security agencies, such as the army, police, national security, intelligence, the popular crowd, and other agencies to secure the roads, as well as holding the important crossings, and we have a security deployment in all Iraq from all the security services, and the almost daily meetings of His Excellency the Iranian and Iraqi Ministers of Interior continue to communicate at the outlets.
Al-Fakiki continued: We also, as a committee, met with the Iranian side for four meetings, and there is correspondence between us and coordination at a high level between Iraq and Iran, and thank God the outlets are now ready to receive the Iranian brothers, and there is a new development in granting visas. The Iraqi government has allowed five countries with free visas for each of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen and Lebanon Likewise, brothers in the (Persian) Gulf will be granted a visa at the Safwan port.
With regard to the Iraqi processions to receive visitors, the Iraqi official stated: Praise be to God, the Iraqis have set up their processions to receive visitors in the main and Nissimiyah roads, and now the visitors are about to finish from Basra towards Karbala and then in Amara and Nasiriyah, and so on until the day of the twenty of Safar. The Iraqi people are like food and housing, and this is not new to Iraqi society, given that this visit is special.
And the head of the Supreme Committee specialized in the Arbaeen visit added: The Iraqi government has provided everything it can to secure this visit, such as means of transportation, fuel, electricity and other things. Also, about 150 convoys loaded with foodstuffs and snow to cool the water have entered from the Iranian side so far. The Iranian people are also involved in serving the pilgrims of Imam Hussein. peace be upon him.
With regard to the conditions of the border crossings between Iran and Iraq, he said: We agreed with the Iranian side that the Shalamcheh crossing would be for the Iranian brothers residing in Iran, and the Al-Jathibah crossing would be for the non-resident Pakistanis, Indians, or Afghans. Iraq is Bashmaq and Hajj Imran, and there are many visitors entering from there. We have Ibrahim Al-Khalil port for Turkish and Azerbaijani visitors. Things are so far very good.
Mahdi al-Fakiki concluded his statement by saying: The security and service forces and the ministries are ready and in a state of alert to provide services and protection to the visitors, and God willing, things are good, and the real marches will start from next Sunday. May God complete this visit with goodness and blessings.
