[rtl]Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari said on Saturday that the security forces succeeded in thwarting attacks targeting military bases containing advisors to the international coalition, while stressing that the government is the one who has the decision to make war and peace in Iraq. Al-Shammari added in television statements that the security forces seized missile launchers targeting military bases. He stressed Baghdad's full commitment to protecting diplomatic missions, pointing out that his forces control all regions to prevent any attacks on neighboring countries, and have directed the prosecution of those who carried out the attacks. He also referred to the deployment of border forces in important areas on the border with Iran. The minister stressed the firm position of the Iraqi government and people in supporting the Palestinian cause, which is to reject the war on Gaza and the targeting of civilians. He stressed that the government is the one who decides on war and peace in Iraq, and its decision is clear not to allow security and stability to be destabilized in Baghdad and the rest of the provinces.[/rtl]
