    On Thursday, the security expert, Saeed Al-Badri, explained the real goals behind Washington’s pursuit of the continued presence of its forces inside Iraq, pointing out that America, through its presence in Iraq, provides service to the Zionist entity, leads assassination operations, and provides protection for the terrorist ISIS.

    Al-Badri told Al-Maalouma, “The American presence in Iraq aims to tamper with the security file, achieve Washington’s interests, and meet the requirements of the Zionist entity and the arms with which it moves inside Iraq.”
    He added, "The American side and the Zionist entity are carrying out goals of assassination operations and tampering with national security, especially after America worked to return to Iraq through the terrorist ISIS portal after its forces left the country in 2011."
    He stated, "America supported the terrorist organization and did not move or take any step toward confronting the threat of terrorism in Iraq when it invaded some areas. Rather, it worked to provide it with information, provide logistical support, secure its locations, and provide protection for its headquarters, and promoted the long stay of this organization in Iraq in order to serve its interests."
