Despite the numerous legal and constitutional violations, and the fraud scandal announced by the judiciary, the expelled Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad al-Halbousi, is still using political influence and money to obstruct the selection of a new Speaker of Parliament after three sessions that took place without passing the replacement.

The obstruction included not only the position of the president, but also the work of the entire House of Representatives, given the number of laws that were not voted on during the previous period as a result.
*Claims to resolve the choice of alternative
Speaking about this file, the United Anbar Alliance calls on the parliamentary political forces to resolve the vote on the replacement for the expelled Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad al-Halbousi, while he confirmed that the latter obstructed the passage of the installation of the replacement during the previous sessions.
The leader of the coalition, Dhari Al-Dulaimi, said in an interview with the “Al-Ma’louma” agency, “Al-Halbousi continues to be stubborn in nominating a figure who is exclusively from the Taqaddam Party,” noting that “such a position that includes all components of the Iraqi people cannot be disrupted, in addition to continuing to obstruct the approval of laws and decisions.” "The task that citizens are waiting for."
He continues, "There is a lack of seriousness on the part of some political forces to neutralize Al-Halbousi from the political process after the violations he committed," adding that "the parliamentary political forces are required to resolve the vote on the replacement of the expelled Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad Al-Halbousi."
*Federal Court decision?
In addition, the Al-Fatah Alliance revealed, today, Sunday, the reasons for delaying the inauguration of the new Speaker of Parliament to succeed the deposed Muhammad Al-Halbousi, while confirming that the House of Representatives is awaiting the decision of the Federal Supreme Court regarding the constitutionality of the previous session or not.
Alliance member Mahmoud Marei said, in an interview with the Maalouma Agency, that “one of the other reasons is Al-Halbousi’s refusal to appoint a new figure to parliament far from Anbar Governorate or from a non-progress party,” noting that “winning the constitutionality decision of the previous session will limit the vote between Mahmoud and Al-Mashhadani and Salem Al-Issawi.
He continues, "Al-Halbousi is trying to maintain control of power in Anbar and ensure that a competing figure does not emerge to him in the province," adding that "Al-Halbousi is trying to maintain the popularity or political presence that ended with the end of his position."
*Halbousi’s obstruction is repeated
For his part, the politician from Anbar Governorate, Abdul Wahab Al-Bilawi, accuses the expelled Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, of obstructing the vote on the personality of the next Speaker of Parliament, while he asked about the reasons for not holding Al-Halbousi, who is accused of forgery, normalization, breaking the constitutional oath, and corruption deals in the western provinces, held accountable.
Al-Bilawi said in an interview with the Maalouma Agency, “The judicial courts are required to take their role regarding the violations committed by Al-Halbousi in the previous period,” pointing out that “the latter continues to obstruct the political process in many files.”
He continues, "We are surprised by the favoritism and agreements made by some political forces with a person convicted and accused of many corruption cases," noting that "failing to implement the law against Al-Halbousi will open the door to the occurrence of many deals and similar violations."
All political and popular circles are awaiting a vote on the new Speaker of the House of Representatives to end the bitter era of Al-Halbousi on the one hand, and the conduct of the work of the House of Representatives on the other hand, in order to complete the basic oversight and legislative role of the House. Will the political forces work to end the power of political money, or will the situation remain as it is? It is now. Ended 25/J
