A number of Central Oil Company employees told Al-Sumaria News that they are calling for the intervention of the Prime Minister and Acting Speaker of Parliament, as well as the Chairman and members of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, the Minister of Oil, and the Deputy Minister for Extraction Affairs and the Judiciary of employees to protect them from mismanagement and arbitrary abuse of power through the formation of wholesale investigative committees against employees. ".

They pointed out that "the practices have reached the point of relieving anyone with whom the political party controlling the company is not satisfied, empowering unqualified people, excluding competent and honorable people from important positions, and empowering families to rule to facilitate the process of passing on their corruption."

The employees demanded “the permanent presence of a committee from the Integrity Commission in their company,” expressing their “readiness to provide integrity with all priorities. For example, there is pressure being exerted on the Human Resources Commission regarding withdrawing any recruitment letter belonging to the General Director as well as the Director of the Licensing Affairs Department, ignoring Penal Code No. 111 of 1969, amended (paragraphs 1, 2, 3), which states: “Any employee or person charged with serving a nation who exploits his position to stop or obstruct the implementation of orders issued by the government, the provisions of laws and regulations, or any ruling or order shall be punished with imprisonment and a fine, or with one of these two penalties.” Issued by a court or any competent public authority.
