[size=45]The Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, Benkin Rikani, discussed with the representative of Japan for International Cooperation (JICA) in Iraq, Jin Yoneda, water projects in central and western Iraq.[/size]
[size=45]The ministry stated in a statement that “Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, Benkin Rikani, met at the ministry’s headquarters with the representative of the Japan International Cooperation Organization (JICA) in Iraq, Jin Yoneda, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of the Director General of the General Water Directorate, Ammar Al-Maliki.”[/size]
[size=45]She added, “The meeting discussed the Ministry’s projects in the water sector funded by the Japanese agency, including improving water supplies for the Samawa Water Project in Al-Muthanna Governorate, with a capacity of 5,000 m3/hour.”[/size]
[size=45]She continued, “The meeting also discussed projects in central and western Iraq, represented by the Wasp Water Project with a capacity of 1,000 m3/hour and Baladruz Water Project with a capacity of 2,000 m3/hour in Diyala Governorate, and the Samarra Water Project with a capacity of 6,000 m3/hour in Salah al-Din Governorate, as well as the inclusion of future projects that include... Central and southern governorates of Iraq.[/size]
