Regarding the social welfare basket, Nehme explained that it has also reached 99 percent, and targets seven million and 250 thousand people from poor families, pointing out that the teams of the Ministry’s Commercial Control Department, in cooperation with the security services, are implementing a major monitoring campaign to follow up on the prices of foodstuffs in local markets during the month of Ramadan and the holidays. He revealed that his ministry has formed a central committee to supervise plans for transporting wheat and preparing food basket materials to be delivered to citizens in city centers, districts and districts at the specified times, in addition to competition between the government side and the private sector regarding quality and prices, stressing the control of government agencies over the prices of foodstuffs, especially flour, which The price of a bag of wheat after the wheat marketing season will reach less than 20 thousand dinars.
