political affairs researcher Rafid Al-Atwani confirmed that the government of Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani is moving towards capitalism to address the economic file.
Al-Atwani told Mawazine News, “The steps of Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani are clear that he is moving towards capitalism to address the economic file, by raising gasoline prices on the Iraqi street and accompanying economic figures who do not work in the government sector during his visit to America.”
He added, "The Sudanese must find quick solutions to the consequences of the socialist administration in the economic file, pointing out that the deficit in the financial budget for the year 2024 contains a financial deficit of 80 billion dinars, and this deficit indicates that there is a deficit in investment management inside Iraq."
He pointed out that "the economic figures who accompanied Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani on his visit to the United States of America are suspected of corruption."
