    BAGHDAD - Iraq Press - October 29 / October:

    Committee discussed the human rights parliamentary headed by Arshad Salhi, Chairman of the Committee and the presence of a number of its members with a number of representatives of the Consultative Council for Human Rights and organizations competent civil society Human Rights High Commissioner for Human Rights, during a panel discussion Iraq's accession mechanism to International Criminal Court .

    The attendees discussed the need for Iraq to join the ICC and the signing of the Treaty of Rome and the Charter of the pressure on the Iraqi government and the concerned authorities in this regard for the international community's attention to this Court.



    At the conclusion of the meeting it was to agree on a set of recommendations, including the deployment of this Court and the importance of human rights culture and hold an expanded conference at which the Judicial Council and the Ministry of Justice and the Commission on Human Rights and Commission on Human Rights is preparing to discuss Iraq's accession to the court.
