    Confirmed the new Indian ambassador to Iraq, George Raju, said on Saturday that his country's embassy in Baghdad will be granted a visa (visa) to the Iraqis within two days, as expressed India's support for Iraq in its war against al (Daash), he stressed the importance of increasing the volume of cooperation between the two countries.
    The office said Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari, in a statement received (range Press), a copy of it, that "al-Jaafari received today a copy of the adoption of the new Indian Ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. George Raju papers," noting that "al-Jaafari discussed with the Indian Ambassador to the development of bilateral relations between Baghdad and New Delhi, and ways to improve them in order to serve the interests of the two friendly peoples. "
    The statement added that "al-Jaafari stressed the readiness of the Foreign Ministry to provide all the support for the success of the diplomatic mission in Baghdad mission," hoping for "the Ambassador and staff mission success in strengthening relations between Iraq and India."
    The statement said that "al-Jaafari stressed the necessity of activating the joint cooperation in the political, security, economic and service areas", calling for "facilitating visa procedures (visa) of Iraqis who want to go to India and to provide all the facilities."
    For his part, the new Indian Ambassador to Iraq George Raju According to the statement that he "would do everything possible to increase the volume of cooperation between Iraq and India," stressing "his country's keenness on supporting Iraq in its war against terrorists (Daash)."
    Raju said that "the Iraqis wishing to visit India will be granted visas (visa) in just two days directly and through the Indian embassy in Baghdad in the framework of strengthening relations and raise the level of cooperation between the two countries."
    It is said that the relations between Iraq and India have been developing over the past years through the signing of memorandums of mutual cooperation in several areas, as Iraqis wishing to visit India suffer either for treatment or study of the late issuance of entry visa to India.
