    23:23:14 6/3/2016 |(Voice of Iraq) - Baghdadannounced anMP for thecoalition ofstate law , high Nassif, on Sunday, all filed a lawsuit in federal court to challenge theConvention on the regulation of maritime navigation between Iraq and Kuwait in the Khawr Abd Allah, while confirming that the agreement includes awaiver Iraq maritime borders. The Nassif , in apress conference held in theparliament building and attended (range press), said that " the Iraqi Council ofRepresentatives and on 22 August 2013, passed a law to ratify theorganization ofmaritime navigation between Iraq and Kuwait agreement in the Khor Abdullah, which included a waiver of Iraq for maritime borders to neighboring countries , " asserting that "this is aconcession from the marine sovereignty ofIraq , which turned it into aclosed state nautical."Nassif added that "Kuwait does not have any right on thewater section isolated adjacent to theFAW and adjacent to theport of Umm Qasr , where that Iraq has thecreek since 1094 and this iscalled the right of the historical use it "indicating that" the ratification of this Convention togrant Kuwait border expansion towards our shores , causing him toconfiscate another marine bodies as well as the loss ofIraq 's oil platforms floating. "Nassif said she" filed a lawsuit to challenge theConvention to the Federal Court inconjunction with the popular movement and demands reform to restore All usurped rights of the Iraqi people , "calling for the House ofRepresentatives and thegovernment to" reconsider theKhawr Abd Allah Convention. "the circles popular academy in Basra criticized, in (14 September 2013), the agreement with Kuwait to regulate navigation in the Khor Abdullah channel, theIraqi government hasdemanded "payment ofmoney, the oil of Kuwait ascompensation instead of land and water", with theexception ofspecialists toconclude agreement in the absence ofthe Ministry oftransport , "a grave mistake committed by the Iraqi diplomacy." the Committee onForeign parliamentary relations carried in (27 August 2013), head of the former regime theUnited Nations has theresponsibility " to alienate" theinterests of Iraq, and stressed that the signing of theorganization navigation agreement in the Khawr Abd Allah was " anattempt to mitigate thedamage" caused by the decision of border demarcation between the two countries. the Iraqi Council ofRepresentatives, voted in (22 August 2013), a bill ratification regulate maritime navigation between Iraq and Kuwait Agreement in the Khawr Abd Allah, and in spite of claim 80 deputies postponed. the General Company ofIraqi ports, promised in the(25 August 2013), that theorganization ofmaritime navigation between Iraq and Kuwait Agreement "negative step" will affect in thenavigation ofIraq, while asserted that Iraq "has been under theConvention about" half " theKhawr Abd Allah, the Ministry oftransport denied that the " Convention affect the rights of "Iraq navigation. It is the Khawr Abd Allah in thenorthern Arabian Gulf, between theislands ofBubiyan and Warba Alkwytatin and semi FAO Iraqi island, and extends to theinside Iraqi territory ,forming Khor Al - Zubair ,which is located by the Iraqi Port of Umm Qasr, the Iraqi government had in 2010 laid thefoundation stone for theconstruction of the port of Faw on the Iraqi side of the creek, while theKuwaiti government began construction ofMubarak Al Kabeer Port on the side Kuwait in the West Bank to theKhawr Abd Allah, triggering problems with Iraq. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
