Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi acknowledged that some blocs and political parties are exploiting state resources for their interests and those of their followers.
Abadi said during a meeting with a delegation of Karbala people and dignitaries in a press statement that some corrupt people are trying to ride the wave to achieve their goals, but that one hand will not be able to hit these corrupt without the presence of other hands to hit corruption.
Abadi added that sabotage takes place in a moment and construction needs years, especially construction after sabotage, which takes longer to remove the destruction.
Abadi said that the country has passed the previous challenges and won the cooperation of its sons, referring to the right to peaceful demonstration, which he described as a health phenomenon because it is useful to listen to the demands of citizens.
The prime minister said that some political blocs without naming them by exploiting the state resources for their interests and the interests of followers, and that represents theft and corruption.
