    Shafaq News/ The Ministry of Finance and Economy in the Kurdistan Region announced in a brief statement, today, Thursday, that Al-Rasheed Bank deposited a financial sum of 250 billion dinars in the Ministry’s bank account in the Erbil branch of the Central Bank of Iraq.
    Earlier today, the Ministry announced that the Iraqi Governmental Rafidain Bank had deposited a financial sum of 200 billion dinars with the aim of financing the salaries of employees and workers in the public sector in the region.
    Yesterday, Wednesday, the Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs in the Kurdistan Region, Peshtwan Sadiq, expected that the regional government would begin distributing salaries next week.
    Sadiq said, during a speech he delivered before a group of clerics in the city of Erbil, that he spoke yesterday morning with the Minister of Finance and Economy in the region, Awat Sheikh Janab, and that the latter told him that salaries would begin to be distributed to employees and those who receive them next week.
    The regional government is facing difficulty in distributing salaries to employees, retirees, and those who receive monthly financial grants on the social welfare network after the federal government won, on March 25, a ruling it submitted before the arbitration panel of the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris, which stipulates stopping oil exports to Kurdistan through the Turkish port of Ceyhan. .
    The Iraqi government recently agreed to grant loans to the Kurdistan Regional Government to finance salaries for three months of the current year, with each month amounting to 700 billion dinars. It sent a loan at the end of last September, but it was late in the second.
    At the end of last October, the Kurdistan Regional Government decided to send a delegation to Baghdad in order to settle the amount of the cash loan that it had agreed with the federal government to send to pay employees’ salaries. However, its spokesman, Peshwa Hormani, announced yesterday that there was no need for the visit after the Ministry of Finance presented it. Kurdistan Trial Balance Report.
    On Sunday, the 29th of last October, the Ministry of Finance and Economy of the Kurdistan Regional Government announced that it had sent the trial balance report for the past three months to Baghdad.
    A statement from the ministry received by Shafaq News Agency stated that, with the signature of the Minister of Finance and Economy in the regional government, a review of the months of July, August and September was sent to the Federal Ministry of Finance.
    He added that the report included all revenues and disbursements for the three months mentioned in the region according to a database and clear numbers.
