Today, Monday, the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, directed gradual preparations to take over the security file in the capital, Baghdad.
The ministry said in a statement, received by the “Information” Agency, that “the Ministry of Interior continues to develop its security and service work in various regions of the country, as the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, opened the central position and the joint operations command center in the Baghdad Al-Karkh Police Command,” indicating that “Al-Shammari held A meeting with the directors of directorates and departments in the leadership.
Al-Shammari directed, according to the statement, “to make more efforts in combating organized crime, completing investigative papers, and establishing security by intensifying the work of rescue patrols and preserving public and private property.”
He stressed "the gradual preparation to take over the security file in the capital, Baghdad, and the strengthening of security and stability," stressing "the fight against corruption."
