The Minister of Health directs the activation of the POS electronic payment system in the Ministry’s institutions

{Local: Al-Furat News} The Minister of Health, Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, chaired the weekly meeting of the senior staff in the ministry and the health departments in Baghdad to discuss a number of topics on the agenda, today, Sunday, December 17, 2023.

According to the ministry’s statement, {Al-Furat News} received a copy of it, saying: “Al-Hasnawi discussed during the meeting what had been achieved in terms of the government program in the health sector and the results of his visits and officials in the ministry to health institutions and health departments in Baghdad and the governorates during and after official working hours and following up on the implementation of the election plan.” “And directing the Ministry of Health’s cadres to provide health services during the election period and fully preparing for any emergency.”
Al-Hasnawi stressed “the necessity of staff commitment to working hours and holding those who are negligent accountable,” directing “to activate the POS electronic payment system in the Ministry’s institutions and within the government’s direction to adopt scientific standards and work guidelines.”
He added, “The Ministry has developed a plan to provide medicines, medical supplies and devices, support the retired segment of health personnel, facilitate their administrative procedures, complete their transactions, and equitably plan for the distribution of staff and graduate studies, and a mechanism for developing the work of medical clinics,” explaining that “the Ministry is proceeding in accordance with the government program to develop the work of health institutions.” To ensure the provision of the best health services to citizens.”
