    Today, Sunday (January 7, 2024), the Global Ambassador for Peace, Hussein Ghalmoush, revealed his upcoming visit to Baghdad, while noting that it will focus on education and medicine because of their impact on improving people’s lives.
    Ghalmoush said in an interview with "Baghdad Today", "Every person deserves and has the right to live in peace, and the Palestinian people have always suffered from injustice, scourges and displacement, and we appreciate the Iraqi people's support for the Palestinian people who are exposed daily to bombing," pointing out that the number of children and women victims constitutes a disgrace to the people. "Humanity has been in a tragedy that has been going on for more than two months."
    Regarding work in the humanitarian field, Ghalmoush pointed out that “work in the humanitarian field is difficult and complex, and by communicating with individuals working on the ground in Africa and the Middle East, we were able to help many families, whether in the field of health and providing medicine and medicine, or in the field of education, where financial and moral support was provided to many.” Of students to complete their higher education, as we believe that knowledge is advancement and a weapon that eliminates ignorance and poverty throughout the world.”
    Regarding the Gaza war, he stressed, “The cost of wars is high, and there are certainly negative economic consequences at the regional and international levels of this war.”
    On a separate level, Ghalmoush said, “No matter how much the world develops in all scientific and industrial fields, if sustainable development and the health and education sectors in poor countries are not supported, the economic repercussions resulting from climate change, wars, and epidemics will increase the proportion of poor people in the world, as ten percent of the world’s population lives They are in extreme poverty and struggle daily to obtain medical, education, water and sanitation services.”
