Saudi Arabia and Russia sign oil deals worth $ 3 billion

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia and Saudi Arabia will sign joint investment agreements worth more than $ 3 billion during King Abdullah's visit to Moscow, the energy minister said.
The Russian Energy Ministry said the deals would include a $ 1.1 billion deal worth $ 1.1 billion under which Russia's petrochemical company would build a plant in Saudi Arabia.

Novak said a joint venture fund would invest $ 150 million in Russia's private oil field services company Eurasia Drilling Limited.
Novak noted that the parties to the cut-off agreement have indicated their willingness to extend it if necessary.
King Salman's historic visit is of great importance, not only because it is the first visit by a Saudi king to the Kremlin since the founding of the kingdom, but for the importance of the two countries' consensus on many issues that occupy the world stage today.
