    [ltr]Baghdad - Mawazine News[/ltr]
[ltr]MP for the civil coalition, Mithal al-Alusi, said on Monday that the Iraqi government is unable to fight corruption, because the government itself is corrupt.[/ltr]
[ltr]"The Iraqi government does not fight corruption, but the prime minister is the only one who is calling and no country in the world can fight corruption through personal emotions or for electoral purposes," al-Alusi told Mawazine News.[/ltr]
[ltr]"He is not convinced of statements made by Abadi to fight corruption and evidence that there is a clear accusation about the central bank issue and the sale of currency. Abadi was unable to stop the bank and end corruption."[/ltr]
[ltr]The MP pointed out that "the Iraqi judiciary is able to fight the large whales of corruption provided the activation of the role and give the independence and full protection and non-interference of the Prime Minister or political actors in his work."[/ltr]
[ltr]He added that "the judiciary should be left to take its role and do the tasks of the public sector and not to interfere with the political parties to try to mediate the corrupts, as happened with the issue of the removal of the governor of Salah al-Din and included pardon or the former governor of Anbar Suhaib narrated."[/ltr]
[ltr]Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, earlier on Monday, the Supreme Council for the fight against corruption to resolve the files and raise them as soon as possible, while ordering the subordination of the offices of the inspectors of the general training courses quality.[/ltr]
