The two-day popular uprising in Iran has expanded to include most regions, following the protests of the so-called "Green Intifada" in 2009, with different reasons for its outbreak and the development of its slogans and demands for overthrowing the regime.
The rallies and marches took place in different parts of Iran, where night-time sit-ins, especially in the northern city of Rasht, were accompanied by anti-regime slogans calling for "overthrowing the dictatorship" and "liberating Iran" and other slogans that began to denounce Rohani's policies about Rising prices and deteriorating living conditions of citizens.
The Iranian Union against the Basij forces, and the blocking of their movement, proved unable to face the demonstrations after their expansion in all Iranian cities.
