Diyala (IraqiNews.com) The Integrity Authority announced issuing an arrest warrant against the Governor of Diyala, Omar al-Hameri, on corruption charges.
A source within Diyala Provincial Council stated to IraqiNews.com on Tuesday ”The Integrity Authority in Baghdad issued an arrest warrant against Hameri,” noting that ”Hameri denied issuing an arrest warrant against him.”
Hameri reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”Such allegations are launched by those who filled with hate and malice since they lost their posts after exposing their corruption among all people and public opinion.”
