    [rtl]Egypt's tourism minister Rania Al-Mashat has agreed with them to form a private sector crisis committee to develop a strategy to solve the problems facing the sector in the country .[/rtl]

    [rtl]He added that the participants in the meeting "called on the Minister to complete the payment of the regular and low-cost charter airlines registered on the Berlin Stock Exchange in March, so as to increase flights to Egypt."[/rtl]

    [rtl]The tourism sector is a key pillar of Egypt's economy and one of the major sources of hard currency, providing jobs and income sources for millions of citizens .[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]Analysts say the competitiveness of the Egyptian tourist destination has risen sharply in the face of other tourist destinations since the central bank's decision to liberalize the pound exchange rate in November 2016. This devalued the local currency by half and boosted the temptation to attract foreign tourists .[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]"The investors agreed with the minister on the need to hold the elections of the Egyptian Federation of tourist rooms as soon as possible to ensure the stability of the sector in full." And the Egyptian Federation of Tourist Chambers without an elected board of directors since November 2016, which was one of the roots of the differences between former Minister Yahya Rashid and the investors of the sector .[/rtl]
