The European Commission has set up a committee to remove obstacles to investment in Iran, EU Energy Commissioner Miguel Arias Canetti said.
"In the light of America's exit from the nuclear agreement, the Commission has set up a committee to remove the obstacles to investment in Iran," Kanti said in a joint press statement with Iran's energy minister.
In response to a question on how to turn the proceeds from oil exports, he explained that "due to the embargo measures imposed by the United States, the European Union seeks to remove the problems in this area."
He added that "the goal of this delegation sent by the European Commission to Iran is to remove the repercussions of the ban on the transfer of hard currency as much as possible."
"The European Commission's efforts are not limited to the issue of remittances but we are also trying to urge European companies to implement various projects in Iran," he said. Ending / 25
