The economic situation in Tehran is in a state of collapse, according to a special report on the Iranian website Roidad 24.
The source pointed out that the class gap between the poor and the rich is increasing obscene, as well as increasing rates of famine and the wave of high cost of living and rising.
The country's poor economy is deteriorating due to fluctuations in the exchange rate of the national currency "Real", financial corruption, sanctions and other things that have increased the pressure on people.
But Rouhani, according to the report, is still optimistic and believes inflation has declined, jobs have been created, and the market situation has stabilized.
Economists, however, strongly criticize Rohani for his optimism and believe that the neoliberal policies of the government have caused the country's economic problems.
Ibrahim Razaqi, an economist at Tehran University's economics faculty, said in an interview with Ruwaid 24 that Iran's economy was going through its worst in all historical stages.
Razaki believes that the Iranian economy will not recover easily and revealed that since the presidency of Rafsanjani (1989-1997) the application of capitalist policies in Iran, the negative effects on the Iranian economy doubled, especially on exports and imports of oil
Ibrahim Razaqi said that according to global standards, The massive production and export of oil is expected to generate between 75 and 150 million jobs, while the government has created only about 12 million jobs, resulting in more than 16 million unemployed in Iran.
"The main focus of each country is on production that leads to employment, rationalization of consumption, containment of price fluctuations and other economic objectives of the state, but the production in Iran has long since died and we resorted to oil instead of production, agriculture, services and industry, Of oil rather than production. "
"The four former presidents have all gone through oil extraction and we have achieved oil sales of $ 50 or $ 60 billion," Razaki said.
"With this figure, it is clear that if we are boycotted to buy oil, and our total dependence on oil, where will the country go?
"It is interesting that Iran has no role in determining the price of oil, but rather from the decision of the global market and the dominance of the United States, Saudi Arabia and other European countries, such as France, Britain and Germany."
On pressure and sanctions, the Iranian expert said that under external pressure and sanctions it is imperative for officials to address poverty and unemployment and bring Iran economically from industrialized countries in the world.
But he ruled out this as a result of Iran's current policies, although it needed to increase exports, especially in oil and petrochemicals.
He also criticized the idea of neoliberal administration derived from capitalism and its application in Iran. "Everyone seeks maximum pleasure and profit without restrictions (religion, morality, community and family interests)," he said.
He pointed to the class differences and astronomical salaries of some directors of government departments and MPs and the acquisition of privileges, especially at the expense of increasing the poor.
The public protests continue in Iran for various segments of society while the authorities warn that it will face violently any demonstrations out of control in the future.
