Iran vows to respond to Europe 's ban[/size]

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasimi condemned the European Union's ban on Iranian nationals, saying Tehran would respond by taking necessary steps in response to the move.
Bahram Qasimi described the EU's decision as irrational and surprising, based on unfounded accusations.
"The EU's decision to ban some Iranians is a lack of credibility of European countries in the fight against terrorism," he said.
"Instead of the European Union listing the names of terrorist and criminal groups like the hypocrites (Khalaf and al-Ahwaz) on the list, they have been banned from granting them freedom in their inhuman and terrorist actions," Qasimi said.
"It is the Islamic Republic of Iran that bears the banner of fighting terrorism and that Europe is a city that is safe in its security, but it has been charged."
The EU imposed a ban on Iranian nationals on Tuesday on Danish allegations of an assassination attempt on its territory.
