Central sells more than 166 million dollars

- Iraq's central bank announced Sunday it had sold more than $ 166 million with 31 banks.
The Central Bank of Iraq during the auction for the sale and purchase of foreign currencies today increase in sales to reach 166 million and 132 thousand dollars covered by the bank exchange rate basis of 1190 dinars per dollar, compared to Thursday, which amounted to sales 154 million and 277 thousand dollars.
The distribution of the demand by 137 million and 52 thousand dollars to strengthen the balance abroad in the form of remittances and credits, while the remaining balance, amounting to 29 million and 80 thousand dollars in the form of cash sale covered by the bank at an exchange rate of 1190 dinars per dollar.
While did not make any of the banks of 31 banks and one of the financial transfer companies at the auction of any currency offers to sell the dollar.
It is noteworthy that the Central Bank is conducting daily sessions for the sale and purchase of foreign currencies, except for official holidays on which the bank stops these auctions.
