    BAGHDAD / NINA / The white national bloc confirmed that "The Iraq -
    Saudi Arabia relations' improvement will reduce the Turkish-Qatari plan
    to divide Iraq."

    The secretary general of the bloc, Jamal
    al-Bateek said in a statement today 17, Feb: "There are reports
    indicating an improvement in the relationship between Iraq and Saudi
    Arabia, and this is a positive step for the two countries."

    He
    praised the recent visit by a delegation of the National Alliance to
    Saudi Arabia to offer condolences on the death of the Emir of Riyadh,
    stressing at the same time: "the need to an official level visits in the
    coming days to confirm the improvement in relations."

    A
    delegation from the Iraqi National Alliance, headed by Ibrahim
    al-Jaafari, includes Sheikh Khalid al-Attiyah, Bahaa al-Araji, Ali
    al-Allaq, Ammar Tohme, Qasim al-Araji, and MP Adel Shershab, MP Abdul
    Hussein Abtan, Sheikh Humaid Maaleh, Abdul Hussein al-Yasiri, and MP
    Adnan Jabbar Suki , recently visited Saudi Arabia to condolence the
    death of the Emir of Riyadh Sattam bin Abdul Aziz.

    Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki also sent a telegram of condolences to King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia. / End
