The leader of the New Generation Movement, Aram Muhammad, considered, on Thursday, that the Kurdistan Regional Government's continued distribution of employees' salaries according to the deduction system is an open and clear theft.
"Everyone knows that oil prices have doubled and returned to normal before the outbreak of the Corona virus, and this increase should be reflected in the financial and economic situation in the region," Muhammad said in an interview with the information agency.
He added that "the continued distribution of salaries according to high deductions for employees is considered a theft by the corrupt power parties, and the regional government must clarify the size of the financial revenues as a result of the sale of oil and the revenues of the outlets, but there is a lack of transparency in these issues."
The Ministry of Finance in the regional government announced yesterday that it will start distributing salaries for employees in the region on the 25th of this month, with deduction rates reaching 21%. End / 25 p
