Today, Saturday, Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi affirmed that Iraq is on the threshold of a new stage and is fully prepared to be a destination for the region and the world.
Al-Halbousi said during the memorial ceremony on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Hakim, that "Iraq today is on the threshold of a new stage and is fully prepared to be a memorial for the region and the world."
He stressed, "There is no going back to previous failures," referring to "the efforts to have a circulation of power without threat."
Al-Halbousi pointed out, "Parliament today is more capable of achieving urgent requirements."
