The leader of the Law Coalition, Turki Al-Atabi, confirmed, on Friday, that the position of Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives will be resolved within two weeks.
Al-Otabi said in an interview with Al-Information, that "resolving the nomination of candidates for positions is necessary, but our most important endeavors are to build strong understandings with political forces to accelerate the legislation of a strong government capable of managing a number of tasks, whether in economic or security files."
Al-Otbi added, “Resolving the position of the Speaker of the House of Representatives may not take two weeks or more, especially since there are preliminary understandings in this path and there are no differences,” stressing that “the coordinating framework with all its forces is proceeding with the formation of the next government according to mechanisms that guarantee solutions to the major problems in the Iraqi scene.” “.
