Signed an agreement to encourage and protect investments between Iraq and Belarus

His Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari in the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, today Saturday, 23/08/2014, Vladimir McKay and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and the importance of expanding the horizons of cooperation in all fields in the forefront of the political, economic and foreign trade and military cooperation, the foreign minister stressed the importance of opening the Belarusian Embassy in Baghdad to support these relationships. The foreign minister noted the importance of this visit in the light of this time, and what it represents support for the government's efforts in the face of the terrorist threat from al Daash which has become generally threatens the countries in the region, and to support the political efforts to form a government of national comprehensive. In another aspect of the meeting, was the signing of the "promotion and protection of investments between Iraq and Belarus", and signed by the Iraqi side, Dr. Sami al-Araji, head of the National Investment DFI.
