In the agency, Ban Ibrahim Nowruz, said in a statement. To the Ministry, "The approval of this system came with self-efforts by the employees of the Standards Department, one of the department's departments, indicating that its implementation has become a distinctive sign for the work of the Standards Department; as the first formation In the Central Agency for Standardization and Quality Control and the Ministry of Planning, it reflects the performance of the Standards Section to perform its tasks in the two fields Iraqi standard specification and guiding evidence, and its endeavor to obtain a quality certificate in accordance with the Specifications of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO 9001: 2015).
Newroz indicated, "The application of this system came to achieve the mission of the Central Agency for Standardization and Quality Control in" protecting the health and safety of the consumer and intellectual property rights, preparing, developing and monitoring specifications and standards, consolidating and disseminating the concepts of quality and conformity assessment to enhance and support the national economy, "and coinciding with the directives of the Prime Minister."
