The commander of the US-led international coalition against the terrorist organization ISIS, Matthew McFarlane, affirmed the continuation of efforts to eliminate the terrorist organization in Syria and Iraq, and to prevent the movement of its elements between the two countries.
McFarlane said in press statements that the terrorist organization continues to launch attacks, which he described as opportunistic, without being able to launch major attacks, due to the coalition's continuous efforts to combat terrorism in Syria and Iraq.
He added that the coalition continues to work to prevent the movement of ISIS terrorist elements between Syria and Iraq, by supporting the Iraqi security forces.
