    [size=45][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The spokesman for the Ministry of Electricity in the Kurdistan Regional Government announced that more than 1.35 million smart electricity meters have been installed so far, and that they are awaiting approval to disburse the budget to complete the installation of another 500,000 meters.[/size]
    [size=45]Omid Ahmed, spokesman for the Ministry of Electricity, said: “After the Kurdistan Regional Government’s decision to install smart meters and their entry into force, more than one million and 350 thousand smart meters were installed for electricity subscribers, and this stage is now approaching its end.”[/size]
    [size=45]He added: “The second phase includes installing smart meters for another 500,000 subscribers, which requires allocating a budget for this purpose. We have submitted a request to the government and are awaiting approval. Once the budget is provided, we will install it.”[/size]
    [size=45]Omid Ahmed said, “In some areas, subscribers to the prepaid system complained that the price was high, so we announced that the opinions and complaints of subscribers will be taken into account, and in the coming stages there may be points in the process that we can change.”[/size]
