The Ministry of Interior announced, on Sunday, that it has taken several measures to accelerate the pace of issuing the unified card during the next year.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier General Miqdad Al-Moussawi, said in an interview with Al-Ma’louma, “The unified card is an organized context that carries many positives, and the efforts of the Ministry of Interior are continuing to complete its granting in accordance with the legal contexts through the competent departments in Baghdad and the provinces.”
He added, "After March 1, 2024, dealings in state institutions will only take place through the unified card, and therefore any transactions that do not include the card will be ineffective. Therefore, all those who do not have the unified card must hurry to obtain it, especially since the time period does not exceed 7 days starting." From submission to receipt.
The spokesman for the Ministry of the Interior called on the people to "receive the cards accumulated in the departments, which have been completed for quite some time, by creating great flexibility and streamlinedness."
