Today, Friday, the Parliamentary Finance Committee called for accelerating the sending of the 2024 budget schedules for legislation, while clarifying the matter of increasing the allocations for lower-level employees.
Committee member, Mustafa Al-Karaawi, said: “The latest decision of the Council of Ministers regarding the salaries of some grades of employees was to add 50 percent of the allocations for the tenth, ninth, and eighth grades, and this is the latest update on the increases.”
Al-Karaawi added, “The 2024 budget schedules have not yet reached the House of Representatives,” calling for “expediting the sending of the schedules from the government so that they can be legislated within the House of Representatives and the economic and financial situation can be restored correctly.”
