    Baghdad today -

Nouri al-Maliki, leader of the State of Law coalition, said that the transfer of salaries from Baghdad will continue and the issue has been resolved.

Nouri al-Maliki said, in a statement to several Kurdish media outlets after a meeting he held with the region’s president, Nechirvan Barzani, that the issue of salaries for Kurdistan Regional Government employees had been resolved and had been sent in the past two months.

“Any attack on Iraqi territory cannot be accepted,” Al-Maliki said, adding that he had heard that the Kurdistan Regional Presidency might postpone the elections until October.
