    He Mikhail Bogdanov, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister expressed satisfaction with the results of the sixth meeting of the Russian-Iraqi Joint Committee, expressing his hope to hold the next meeting of the committee in the liberated Mosul.

    And it held the sixth meeting of the committee in Baghdad on Thursday, February 11th. And he headed the Russian delegation, Dmitry Rogozin, Russian Deputy Prime Minister, and the Iraqi delegation Fterosh Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari.

    Bogdanov said in an interview with RT that the meeting witnessed a large-scale debate on all areas of cooperation, amid an atmosphere of mutual understanding and traditional friendship, as talks showed Match visions for the future and the prospects of large-scale to deepen ties between the two countries.

    Bogdanov said that the two sides also discussed cooperation in the military-technical sphere and in the field of security and coordinate stances and unify the capacity to combat terrorism effectively. Bogdanov described terrorism as a common enemy for Russia and Iraq, stressing the need for joint action on this track.

    And Abizaid: "We are satisfied with the outcome of the sixth session of the Joint Intergovernmental Committee, which was held in Baghdad for the first time since 2003". And restored Russian diplomat recalled that the fifth meeting of the Committee held in Moscow in 2008.

    Bogdanov stressed that the positions of Russia and Iraq are similar and identical on a lot of pressing international and regional matters, particularly in regard to the fight against terrorism and to find political solutions to the crises in the region, especially in Syria.

    He added that the President of the Russian delegation, Dmitry Rogozin expressed at the conclusion of the meeting expressed the hope that the next meeting of the Committee held in the Iraqi city of Mosul after its liberation from the hands of terrorists.

    Bogdanov said he shared the head of the Russian delegation this hope, saying: "God willing, the next meeting will be held in the liberated Mosul, and therefore we must do Alhjod for the elimination of terrorism."
