The Council of Ministers approved a draft law to address the abuse of housing and referred to the House of Representatives.
The law, which was voted by the Council in its meeting yesterday to take over the Secretariat of Baghdad and the municipalities in the provinces and in coordination with the Directorate of Urban Planning in the province concerned to prepare surveys and development plans and rehabilitation of the areas exceeded by the provisions of this law.
The law provides for the required areas for green areas and social services, health and education and the expansion of the streets under the approved planning standards, as well as the development of trade and service hubs dedicated to the development of the region. C
