Baghdad is seeking to re-time back for security cooperation with Washington

    2013-10-30 Agencies:

Saw magazine (Foreign Policy) of America that the violent tensions that plague Iraq could give the United States some useful lessons on its strategy for the future of Afghanistan. The magazine said, in the context of the report reported on its website on Tuesday, said that two years after the withdrawal of the last combat troops U.S. from Iraq, became the country suffers from tensions bloody permanent, pointing out that the violence there is a challenge politically dangerous for the administration of U.S. President Barack Obama, as it offers also a "cautionary tale" of what might happen in Afghanistan if U.S. troops pulled out all of them as well.

She pointed out that Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, who is visiting Washington to seek U.S. help in fighting his country against armed elements that have killed more than five thousand Iraqis since the beginning of this year, pointing out that there is a "paradox painful" in that visit, in 2011, failed to al-Maliki to reach an agreement with the United States paving the way for a permanent U.S. military presence in Iraq, and now two years later strongly Maliki is seeking to re-time back and urged Washington to expand its security cooperation with the government.

The magazine said that Afghanistan is not Iraq, but Afghan President Hamid Karzai is facing a similar crisis when it comes to the future of the U.S. military presence in his country, and calls for the United States to grant Afghanistan troops immunity which you want in Iraq (which judicial immunity is not under trial any U.S. soldier commits crimes or offenses except in accordance with U.S. law), which is publicly rejected Karzai similar to al-Maliki. This refusal led the Obama administration to think of something you do not think about it until a few months ago, a complete withdrawal of all U.S. combat troops from Afghanistan, the original context of the war against terrorism.

She described the magazine Karzai as a "negotiator handyman" has been in power for more than ten years through the knowledge of the full how to pressure the United States without causing the separation of whole between Washington and Kabul, but the stubbornness of Karzai, this time on the issue of U.S. troops might give the White House reason to leave Afghanistan final.

They believed (Foreign Policy) that the U.S. withdrawal completely from Afghanistan may be more harmful Army Karzai compared to the damage done by an army-Maliki, when I left the U.S. forces Iraq in 2011 was the Iraqi army trained and armed relatively well, but the forces Karzai less willing much to take over security affairs on their own .
