    [ltr]The coalition of victory led by Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abbadi in preliminary results unconfirmed to the general vote held in Iraq, followed by the list «Surun» led by Moqtada al-Sadr. While the first elections were considered at the level of ensuring that no major security breaches were recorded, they were the lowest level of participation.[/ltr]

It was remarkable that it achieved significant results in the provinces of Nineveh, Salah al-Din and Anbar, while the list of others led by al-Sadr in the southern cities, , And the alliance led by Hadi al-Amiri.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Washington praised the Iraqi elections and called for the formation of an "inclusive government".[/ltr]
    [ltr]The new generation's list of other political blocs, such as the change and the justice movement of Barham Salih in Erbil and Kirkuk, was recorded as a surprise, while the two main parties maintained their position in the lead.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The electoral process in Iraq was considered the safest compared to previous years, according to the Iraqi Interior Ministry, while the Baghdad Operations Command said that the security plan to protect the polling stations was successful, and did not record any security breaches in Baghdad.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The political and media circles were preoccupied with monitoring the low voter turnout in different Iraqi cities. The voting rate was 44 percent, compared with the 2014 elections, which reached 60 percent. He explained the low participation rates with many problems in the voting procedures, and the failure of electronic auditing, in addition to the general frustration of the repetition of the traditional political forces themselves. However, the outskirts of cities and their suburbs witnessed high participation rates compared to the centers of cities where participation declined.[/ltr]
    [ltr]In turn, the governorates of the Kurdistan region witnessed for the first time a decline in participation rates, while the camps for displaced people in the region complained of the inability of a large number of them to cast their votes because of technical errors in the lists of voters.[/ltr]
