, informed sources revealed, on Wednesday, movements by leaders of the Construction Alliance towards retaining Adel Abdul-Mahdi as prime minister.
The sources said in an interview with "Mawazine News" that "after the demonstrators rejected a group of candidates presented by the Construction Alliance to head the next government, the coalition intends to keep the resigned Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi in his post."
He added, "The movements led by construction leaders include retaining Abdul-Mahdi as prime minister and making a cabinet reshuffle that includes 12 ministers," noting that "these moves are awaiting the approval of Sunni and Shiite blocs, with initial approval by the Kurds." Ended 29 / h
