Al-Tamimi stressed that “the vaccine is safe, effective and approved by the World Health Organization,” calling on “citizens covered by the vaccine to register through the electronic platform to install their private information, and then a message is sent via their phones to notify them of the time and place of receiving the vaccine while giving them an ID to receive it as a first dose and fixing a date Another to receive the second dose. The Minister of Health added that, "There are other batches of vaccines that will arrive in succession during the next few weeks from the ministry's contracts of 20 million doses through the Kovacs facility, the Chinese Sinopharm and the American companies, and they will be distributed among health institutions and departments in Baghdad, the provinces and the Kurdistan region in a fair and free manner among citizens from Target groups, as of today, Saturday. "

In the same file, the spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Saif Al-Badr, said, "The high number of injuries was inevitable because there was no commitment to all the calls made by the ministry regarding the seriousness of the pandemic." Morning or evening".
In Babylon, the Director of the Health Department, Muhammad Hashem al-Jaafari, stated that "the first batch of vaccine by Astrazhnica Company was received, in the amount of 17 thousand and 300 doses from the main vaccine store of the drug company in the Ministry of Health and Environment."
