, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fouad Hussein, affirmed today, Saturday, that Iraq's strategy stems from taking into account the common interests with the countries of the world.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahaf said in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of it, that "the Minister of Foreign Affairs received a copy of the credentials of the new Danish ambassador to Iraq, Christian Turning."
He noted that "the two sides discussed ways to advance bilateral relations between the two countries, and the importance of enhancing opportunities for cooperation at various levels to meet the aspirations of the two peoples."
The minister stressed the "importance of opening wider horizons for constructive cooperation," stressing that "Iraq's strategy in its balanced relations stems from observing common interests with the countries of the world and in a manner that serves progress and prosperity for its people and friendly peoples."
For his part, the Danish ambassador affirmed "his country's support for social twinning projects through non-governmental organizations," noting that "there is an interest among businessmen in Denmark to enter the Iraqi market."
He added, "The Danish Development Agency is interested in supporting electricity and infrastructure projects in Iraq."
On the other hand, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein received the Japanese ambassador to Iraq, Suzuki Kotaro, on the occasion of the end of his work as Japanese ambassador to Iraq.
The Minister expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the ambassador throughout his tenure in order to improve relations between Baghdad and Tokyo, and what he contributed to strengthening joint cooperation, expressing his confidence in the continuation of the path of bilateral relations on the rise, wishing him success in his new duties.
For his part, the Japanese ambassador stressed the depth of the bilateral relations between the two countries, praising the efforts made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the facilities in the success of the work of the Japanese embassy in Baghdad. Ended 29 / h
