Today, Tuesday, the Supreme Authority for Hajj and Umrah announced a reduction in the insurance amounts imposed on Umrah performers and pilgrims by the Saudi side.
A statement of the authority stated, "The head of the authority, Sami Al-Masoudi, visited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and after deliberation with the Saudi side, the insurance sums imposed on pilgrims and pilgrims were reduced."
He pointed out, "The insurance for Umrah performers was reduced from (235 riyals to 88 riyals), as for pilgrims, it became 29 riyals instead of 109 riyals."
The commission called on "Umrah companies to take into account the fees for performing Umrah rituals for Iraqis, whether departing by air or land, and reduce them for them."
